                                         Our History
McAdams Tennis Club was established in the late 1960's by Charles 'Goose' Doughty, Jr., Charles McAfee, James 'Buddy' Fields, Chuck Maloney and several other local tennis players.  They adopted McAdams Park Courts as their base of operation.  The McAdams Park Courts was later renamed Charles 'Goose' Doughty, Jr. Tennis Facility after several of the local tennis club members partitioned the City of Wichita to name the courts after the legendary tennis and basketball coach.

The McAdams Community Tennis Foundation was founded by Alexander Lee in 2001 to operate as a community based foundation to provide free tennis lessons, mentors and educational guidance to local youth in the community.
